Care
The short answer

This is a coached program. We look at what is actually going on with your food, your sleep, your stress and the metabolic picture behind them, then build something you can keep doing. It asks more of you than a prescription does, and it is the reason the result tends to stay put.

Almost nobody arrives here needing to be told that vegetables are good. They have lost the same weight several times already. What is missing is not information, it is a plan built around their actual life and someone paying attention week to week. That is what this is.

Why the last few attempts did not hold

Usually because they were built for a version of your life that does not exist. A plan that assumes you cook every night, sleep eight hours and never travel for work will fail the first busy week, and then the failure feels personal. It was not personal, it was a badly designed plan.

The other common reason is that nothing underneath ever got looked at. Sleep that has been broken for years, blood sugar swinging hard enough to make the afternoon unmanageable, thyroid symptoms nobody chased down, stress running constantly. You can white-knuckle your way past all of that for a few weeks. Nobody does it for a year.

What the program involves

  • A proper starting picture: history, habits, and where your energy actually goes.
  • Food built around what you genuinely eat, not an ideal you will abandon.
  • The sleep and stress side, because both drive appetite more than willpower does.
  • Regular check-ins, so a hard week gets adjusted rather than becoming the end of it.
  • Movement that fits the body you have now, including a sore back or a bad knee.

Who it suits

People who have lost weight before and put it back on, and who would rather understand why than start another round of the same thing. It also suits people whose weight and whose joints are tangled together, where a sore knee or a sore back makes moving harder and the extra load makes the joint worse. That is why we look at both together.

Who it does not suit

Anyone wanting a rapid result before a date, because that is the thing that reliably comes back. Anyone hoping for a medication or an injection, since this program uses neither and we will point you to a physician rather than pretend otherwise. And if there is an eating disorder in the picture, current or past, that needs specialist care and we will say so plainly rather than take you on.

What we will not promise

A number, or a date. We do not publish a pounds-per-week figure, because the honest answer depends on where you are starting, what your sleep and stress look like, and what you can sustain. Anyone quoting you a guaranteed figure before meeting you is selling something. What we will tell you, after the first consultation, is whether we genuinely think this approach fits you.

Cost and insurance

  • The first consultation is where we work out whether this fits, before you commit to anything.
  • Clear pricing up front, so you know what is involved before you start.
  • No auto-renewing program you have to remember to cancel.

Weight-loss coaching is generally not covered by insurance and we will be straight with you about cost at the start. We cannot promise a specific result. What we can promise is that we will tell you honestly if we do not think this is the right fit.

Process
Step by step

What your care looks like

No surprises, and nothing you have not agreed to.

1

A conversation first

Your first visit starts with history and questions, before any plan is made.

2

A careful check

We look at the full picture and work out whether this is something we can help with, or something that belongs with another provider.

3

A plan you agree to

You hear what we found, what we would suggest, and roughly how long before you should expect to notice a change.

4

Care, then spacing out

Most people start with a short course of visits and taper as things settle and daily activity gets easier.

FAQ

Weight loss questions we hear most

The 4 we are asked before almost every first visit.

Ask us directly
Do you use injections or weight-loss medication?
No. This program is built on food, habits, sleep and movement, with no medications or injections involved. If that is what you are looking for, the right person is a physician who can prescribe and monitor properly, and we will say so rather than talk you into something else.
How much weight will I lose?
We do not give a number before meeting you, and we would be wary of anyone who does. It depends on where you are starting from, what your sleep and stress look like, and what you can realistically keep doing. After the first consultation we can talk honestly about what is reasonable for you.
Are supplements part of the program?
Guided supplementation can be part of the program. Where a specific nutritional support is worth it for you, we will say so, explain why, and go over any cost before you decide.
I have a bad back or knee. Can I still do this?
Yes. We build the movement side around the body you have now rather than the one a generic plan assumes. For a lot of people those two problems have been feeding each other for years.
